[TAE] Addiction Update
In March of last year, I came to the realization that I have a food addiction. In September of last year, I was still fighting it – and I lost a battle fairly dramatically. It’s now over a year since I originally took ownership of this addiction…and I’m still fighting. The issues I talked about in the first linked post above dealing with how to recognize food addiction came back within the last few months – and came back with a vengeance. The first annual (that’s right, it’s officially annual!) Ghostwriters Unite! conference was a HUGE success. I’m still kind of recovering a bit from the weekend, and also am in the middle of writing a paper, but here, have a gallery of pictures of me and my table from the conference. It’s been over a month since my last blog – in fact, I haven’t blogged since my pre-scheduled series on Skin Spirits ended. This has been due to an incredible lack of time on my part – and due to some very unfortunate things in my life. Any of you who have me friended on Facebook have likely heard about what’s going on with my fiancee, Lona, and the series of mini-strokes that caused her to be hospitalized early in March for about a week. She’s doing better now, and we’re getting her the medications she needs to try and ensure she doesn’t have any more of them – but she has had two more since being home, for a grand total of twelve in the space of a month.
